The Multicultural AFL Football TV & Radio Show - Round 11 By Fiv Antoniou   29/05/2019 NEMBC Live matchday broadcast this week in ITALIAN: Essendon v. Carlton from the  MCG on Sunday  3:10 pm EST on 3ZZZ Digital on-line. Round 10 was the Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous round. The round was not only a  celebration for indigenous and  diversity  in  Australia, it also proved to be very  eventful: Brad Scott dropped a  bombshell by  announcing he was leaving as coach of North Melbourne  effective  almost  immediately, suffice to say the Roos gave  him a  victory to remember on his last  day. Collingwood at the SCG beat the Swans to kick the week off, while Richmond and Essendon fought it out in the Dreamtime match at the  “G” with  the Tigers Bachar  Houli winning the best on ground Yiooken Award. Geelong continued their reign on top while Adelaide continue to confound  the  critics going  down to the Eagles. Appropriately closing the Sir Doug Nicholls r

Gabriel D'Angelo, Vanessa Gatica and Maximo Torres-Perez The Multicultural AFL Football TV & Radio Show - Round 10 By Fiv Antoniou 22/05/2019 Round 9 produced some of the most consistent footy yet, with almost 9 favourites getting into the winner's circle. The only game that may have gone against the grain with footy tipsters was the one point win by the Brisbane Lions against the Adelaide Crows. Players were getting a one-week suspension and fined, but the report that takes the cake is Carlton’s “Daisy” Thomas

St. Kilda, with commentators Vanessa Gatica and Max “All-Rounder” Perez-Torres, Saturday 1:45 pm EST. Welcome to the 9th round of the NEMBC’s, AFL Footy Blog. Round 8 got underway last Friday night from the SCG with the Swans winning the grinding contest and controversy when Sydney’s Rampe climbed on the goal post just as the Essendon player was having a kick on goal after the siren. What many thought should have been a free kick was merely waved on with the Swans winning by the narrowest of margins. Rampe was fined  $1000  by the league for the goal post incident and $10,000 for his remarks to the umpire earlier on in the game. More controversy erupted as the Bombers, Orazio Fanta-sia’s

The AFL match results this week separated the teams on top from the chaff. Melbourne made it back into the winner's circle with a desperate 4 point win over Hawthorn while Carlton and Richmond provided only disappointment for their fans. As far as Umpire Appreciation Week went, I and many other AFL fans saw some very average performances by the men in “white”. It is obvious that the stronger team of the day enjoys much lenient treatment from umpires because they are reluctant to award 50/50 frees to the weaker opposition – Clean up your act fellas and don’t pay tiggy-touch marks and frees. Be consistent with your decisions, or just go by the hard letter of the law and dump personal
